IN THE OUTDOORS

OCA’s partnership with Cancer Council NSW brings together two shared priorities: helping more Australians enjoy the outdoors and making sun protection a routine part of that experience.

 

Outdoor organisations have a valuable role in shaping how staff, volunteers and participants prepare for time outside.

 

Through this collaboration, OCA has helped bring Cancer Council NSW’s sun safety message to the outdoor industry in a way that reflects real activities and settings. OCA’s Sun Safe Outdoors announcement

One example was the Sun Safe Outdoors photo project, led by Cancer Council NSW and supported by OCA. It invited the industry to show people enjoying outdoor activities while using practical sun protection. The resulting images celebrate the breadth of outdoor participation and offer a visible reminder that sun safe habits belong alongside the many benefits of spending time outside. OCA’s project update
